With two young kids and a love of cooking, the family needed a home that could take the wear and still feel calm. We opened the kitchen to the living area, chose hard-wearing finishes, and carved out smart zones for play, study and rest.
The heart of this renovation was the kids' room. We wrapped it in a soft dusk-blue and kept everything at a child's height — low storage bins they can reach on their own, an extendable bed that stretches as they grow, and open shelving for the things they love most. Hard-wearing oak-look flooring and washable finishes take the mess of everyday play in stride, while wool wall hangings and warm timber keep the room feeling gentle, personal and unmistakably theirs.

"It handles our chaos beautifully and still feels serene. Exactly what we hoped for."
